Oak Park had an amazing showing in Raymore Peculiar this last weekend. There were many personal records (PR) and season records (SR) on a fast course for both the men's and women's teams! It seems that the Northmen continue to push forward in their success with a laser focus. If not now, it won't be long before "Oak Park" is THE team known across the state!
 WOMEN'S RESULTS
The women's varsity finished a respective 14
th place out of 17 teams, here are the individual highlights:
'25 Alaina Thomas leading the way with a new PR of 22:04.5 and a top 40 finish!

Reece Lesch ran a huge PR as well, almost 40 seconds faster than she ran last week with a time of 23:05!

Alexis Platz ran amazing, running over 70 seconds faster than last week for a PR of 23:36!

DeLaney Jones ran a SR of 24:11.7. Notable for being the team blue blood and did amazing leading these girls into a competitive race!

Kylee Gray also ran a SR of 25:24.9!
On the girls C team '25
Tessa Minter lead them with a PR of 29:53.9!

Hope Klamm finished with a strong ending sprint to run a SR of 32:06.4!

 MEN'S RESULTS
The Men's varsity squeezed into a crowded start line with 34 other teams and 15 in their division, they certainly left everything out on the course finishing 2
nd place as a team, the highest they have placed in the meet's history! The Men's varsity also had a team average of 17:26 edging over 3
rd place by just one point.

Gabriel Pingleton ran a SR of 16:43 for a 6
th place finish, but top 5 runner in school history under '13 Liban Samatar, '08 Will Hansen and, '09 Matt Stull.

Hudson Allen finished 2
nd for the team and earned a medal at 15
th place, with a time of 17:13.2.

Tyler Gray ran a SR of 17:24.3 and earning a medal at 18
th place.

Ahmed Thabit ran a 35 second PR at 17:33.8 breaking the 18 minute barrier for the first time earning his first varsity medal.

Ali Habila had a solid race with a time of 18:20.1.

James Greener was the 6
th guy for the team had a perfect race running a PR of 19:22.9.
The JV guys were impressive, they all packed together close to the front for the first mile unfortunately '24
Caden Willmann dropped out of the race early due to a minor injury.

Caleb Winkler ran a PR of 19:42 and now has a fighting chance for a varsity spot by the end of the season.

Aiden Kendrick ran a SR of 19:46.9 to also add him to the talk of a varsity spot by districts.
'22 Abelrahaman Adam Had an amazing first 5k at 20:23.3. '

Tory Lanham gained confidence with his PR of 22:10.2.

Overall, everyone had an amazing day almost half the team came away with PR's and the men's team brought home a second-place trophy with 4 varsity medals.
