As of Wednesday, April 29, Oak Park baseball is 7–16 after a close 2–0 loss to Liberty. The team is looking to bounce back this week as they face Park Hill and Northtown.
With the season nearing its end, Oak Park hopes to earn a top seed in the district tournament and secure a home-field game. The team has seen a lot of success from its underclassmen this year, with standout freshman
Brayden White having an impressive season as both a pitcher and a hitter. He is expected to have a strong future at the school.
With only three seniors on the roster, there is plenty of room for growth heading into next season. For now, the team is focused on finishing the year strong.
