Ben Hass is making his mark both on and off the mic. A senior in his third year with The Axe and a first-year contributor to the sports broadcast team, Hass has quickly become a versatile presence in student media. From fast-paced basketball matchups to intense tennis showdowns and major school events, he’s proven he can cover it all with confidence and clarity.

Beyond his on-air work, Hass plays a key role behind the camera. He has developed strong skills in camera operation, framing shots, and capturing the energy of live events, helping bring each broadcast to life. Whether he’s filming on the sidelines or setting up for a big event, his attention to detail and understanding of visual storytelling add another layer of quality to every production.

His work hasn’t gone unnoticed—Hass earned national recognition with a sixth-place finish in the Broadcast News category, a testament to his skill and dedication both in front of and behind the camera.
