The Lady Oakies hosted St. Joe Central on Thursday Night.

Our Northmen started out slow in a game that only saw 17 points in the 1st, trailing 5-12 at the end of 1Q. The girls fought hard in the second with a score of 17-31.

After halftime Paige Allen came out ready to play. All scored 5 points in a row, putting the girls back in the game with a score of 36-45 by the end of the third quarter.

The Northmen gave it their all in the fourth but came up just short with a final score of 45-53.

Paige Allen ended the night with 35 points and said,

"We had a much better 2nd half, but we need to learn to play all 4 Quarters, once we can do that, it's only up from there."

The team is ready for their next game as they travel to William-Chrisman on January 13.
