The Oakies rebounded well after yesterday's tough defeat with a 44-23 victory over St. Joe Lafayette. Oak Park led the game from start to finish. They found themselves with a 13-5 lead at the end of the first quarter & 28-15 halftime lead. Oak Park stepped up their defense only allowing 5 points in the third quarter and 3 points in the fourth quarter. 
    Junior, Paige Allen, was determined to set the tone for the game by scoring 11 of the Oakies 13 first quarter points of the evening. She finished the game with 21 points & 8 rebounds. Senior sharpshooter, Mya Beck, knocked down 3 treys to finish with 9 points as Freshman Rylan Bishop chipped in 9 points as well.
    The 1-1 Oakies will take on Winnetonka in the Fifth place game of the Tonka Tournament Friday @ 4:00.
