Tiffany Massey is a dedicated coach with a passion for dance and mentorship. She attended Oak Park High School where she was a part of the Dance All-American Team for four years and achieved the title of Top All-American for 2 years.
Tiffany continued her dance journey at the University of Colorado - Boulder and the University of Missouri - Kansas City, where she danced with the respective university teams. During her time at UMKC, Tiffany's team placed 1st at NDA College Nationals.
She then went on to join the Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleaders, where she cheered for an impressive 6 years. She received accolades such as Rookie of the Year in the 2017-2018 season and Veteran of the Year in the 2022-2023 season.
Inspired by her positive experiences with the Pommies program at Oak Park, Tiffany pursued coaching to give back to the community that shaped her. As the coach of the Pommies Dance Team at Oak Park High School for five years, Massey aims to coach not just dancers but well-rounded individuals.
"My hope for my coaching is that it goes beyond the dance floor – I strive to coach the whole person. I value personal growth, academics, and life skills in my approach to holistic athlete development."
Tiffany's coaching philosophy is deeply influenced by her mentor, Coach Pabon.
"Coach Pabon was actually one of my teachers my sophomore year at Oak Park High School. Pabon's passion for teaching and how approachable she is as a person and mentor has always inspired me. We started coaching together in 2020 and I love how our paths have come full circle and I can now call her a friend!"
Outside of coaching, Tiffany works as a Special Events Coordinator at Synergy Services, a nonprofit organization serving the Northland community. She is happily married to her husband, Adam, and together they share their home with their beloved Golden Doodle, Greta, who is a big fan of the Pommies as well.
Tiffany Massey's dedication to her team, commitment to athlete development, and love for dance make her an invaluable asset to the Oak Park High School community.
