Tatiana Dennis, known by her friends and teammates as “Tati,” “Titi,” or “Tay,” is a multi-sport athlete at Oak Park High School who has been wrestling for two years, starting her journey as a sophomore. In addition to wrestling, Tatiana also plays softball and flag football, keeping herself active and in shape throughout the year.
While wrestling wasn’t a family tradition, her stepdad was the only other person in her family to wrestle, inspiring her to take on the challenge. Her dedication has led her to place in multiple competitions, earning medals in 3rd, 2nd, and 6th place finishes.
Coach Williams has played a crucial role in Tatiana’s development as a wrestler, consistently pushing her to improve and strive for her best. One of her favorite wrestling memories is from her first year at the Wonder Woman Tournament, where she enjoyed watching the intensity and excitement of the final matches.
During the offseason, Tatiana stays active and prepared for the next wrestling season by participating in other sports, ensuring she remains in top shape. Although none of her siblings have attended Oak Park yet, Tatiana is already leaving her mark as a versatile and determined athlete.
Tatiana’s drive and passion for athletics make her a key member of the Oak Park community, and she continues to grow with every season.
