Adison "Fitz" Fitzpatrick: A Rising Star in Sports and Psychology
Adison "Fitz" Fitzpatrick is a dedicated and driven athlete, currently in her fourth year of playing her sport. Though she didn’t have a family background in this particular sport, Fitz's passion and hard work have helped her carve out a successful career. Before diving into her current athletic pursuit, she spent many years as a gymnast, a foundation that shaped her physical discipline and built her strong work ethic.
The biggest influence on Fitz’s journey has been Coach Pugh, whose guidance and mentorship have been crucial in her development as an athlete. This strong relationship is reflected in her achievements, including several awards and the unforgettable experience of reaching the state competition—a memory that continues to inspire her.
Outside of sports, Fitz has a deep interest in Psychology, which is her favorite class at Oak Park High School. She enjoys exploring the complexities of human behavior and the mind, a passion that complements her athletic discipline. To stay in top form during the off-season, Fitz follows a rigorous fitness routine, incorporating daily gym workouts, runs, and stretching to maintain her physical readiness.
Fitz is also connected to her family through Oak Park High School, where her sibling, Madalyne Fitzpatrick, also attended. Their shared experiences have further strengthened her ties to the school community.
With a blend of athletic talent, academic curiosity, and an unwavering work ethic, Fitz is poised for a bright future. Whether on the field or in the classroom, her determination will continue to guide her as she moves forward in her journey.
