The Northmen went 0 for 3 in the 3 games they played in the Jamboree. Despite the losses the Northmen had many positives come out of the Jamboree on Monday. First off, the pitching staff looked great. '22 Carter Poole had a good start to his season as he went 2 innings in game 1 vs Blue Springs, allowing 0 runs and only surrendering 1 hit. '23 Caden Beshears also had a good start to his season on the bump for the Northmen as he went 1-2-3 in his first inning against the Eagles of Liberty North. The Northmen were also able to wake up the bats in their final game against the Liberty Blue Jays. Oak Park Baseball is looking good as they roll into the beginning of Regular Season play. The Northmen will travel down to Raytown South to take on the Cardinals in the season opener on March 18th.
