Jillian Montgomery is a senior at Oak Park High School and a dedicated member of the women’s cheer team. She has been a part of the Oak Park cheer program for four years and has been involved in the sport for a total of six years. Throughout her cheerleading career, Jillian has achieved remarkable success, including being a two-time MCCA Regional Champion, three-time NCA Regional Champion, 2023 MCCA State Champion, and a three-time NCA National Qualifier.
One of her most cherished memories in cheerleading is traveling to Dallas with her best friends to compete at nationals. She credits Kelsey Mayabb as a major influence in her cheer career, guiding her growth and passion for the sport.
Outside of cheer, Jillian enjoys her classes at Oak Park, with Mr. Voos being her favorite teacher. Coming from an athletic family, she shares a love for sports with her brother, Tate, who wrestles, and her sister, SJ, who also cheers.
In preparation for the season, Jillian hones her tumbling skills at open gyms. After high school, she plans to continue her cheer career at Northwest Missouri State University while pursuing her academic and professional goals.
Jillian is on the HAW pathway and is a dedicated, hardworking athlete who strives for excellence in everything she does.
