The Oak Park Lady Oakies started off their 2022-2023 fall season with a 15-0 win against Raytown South. Special shoutout to the new head coach Jamie Ferguson on her first Oak Park win. Coach is anticipating a successful season for these ladies, after a wonderful performance last night.

Another great opportunity to come support your Lady Oakies is coming up on Monday, September 6th against Winnetonka. These ladies would love to see some support at the second home game.

We had some amazing at bats the past game with a single from Senior Carley Freeman driving in a run, Freshman Kali Bogart with an RBI, and another RBI driven in by Sophomore Sammy Pearson. With 4 runs scored in the 1st inning, led off by Freshman Gia Peterson with a single at her very first at bat as an Oak Park Lady Oakie. Freshman Kali Bogart hit a double bringing two runners in, also in her first at bat.

This momentum only continued throughout the game, as your Lady Oakies' run ruled Raytown South by the fourth inning, finishing with a score of 15-0 the first game of the season.
