STILL UNDEFEATED AND UNSCORED ON

Oak Park entered its first conference game encouraged by a strong defensive effort in their opener.

Again the Northmen defenders dominated
the opponent this week the favored Ruskin Eagles.

Ruskin was unable to move on its first possession and was forced to punt. Tom Dodd broke thru and blocked the kick and ran 17 yards for the first Big-Blue touchdown.

The kick gave the Northmen their first lead 7-0.
That score stood at halftime.

Tom Dodd made a key quarterback sack to stop a Ruskin offensive effort.

Todd teamed with Harold Grissum to drive the ball to the Ruskin
goal.

Mike Termini blasted it through for the second touchdown.

Eddy Lance returned an intercepted Ruskin pas~ for an apparent score but a penalty called the score back.

Fred Bowman killed the last Ruskin attempt with another interception.

He returned the ball to the 45.
