Center broke two long touchdowns early and took a 14-0 lead.

Oak Park fought back and scored before half when Harold Grissum drove in from the one.  The kick  missed but the Northmen were on the board and in the game 14-6

The Northmen put two scores up in the third quarter.  The first again by Grissum and the extra point kick by Bob Blake narrowed the gap to 20-21.

Center stretched the margin to 28-20 before Grissum ran 18 yards for his third score. The kick made it 28-20 going into the fourth quarter.


Center got an insurance score but the Northmen did not quit.

The clock ran out on the Big Blue at the Center 20 yard line threatening to score.
