Oak Park High School is anxiously waiting to announce the addition of Mr. Chris Kauffmann to the Oak Park Family pending board approval.  

We are truly excited for Mr. Kauffmann to take over a band program that was left in a great place by Mrs. Mahon.  His energy, enthusiasm, and his extensive background with marching band is something we look forward to. - Chad Valadez, Activities Director

Mr. Kauffmann has taught in the Platte County School District the past two years as the Lead Middle School Director, along with assisting with the High School Marching Bands and conducting the convert band.  Mr Kauffmann previously served as the Director of the Bands in the North Platte School District for seven years and Assistant Director in the Willard School District for two years.

Chris holds a Master of Music Education degree from the UNKC Conservatory of Music, and a Bachelor of Instrumental Music Education with honors from Missouri State University.
