Offense:
Â
In Oak Park's second win of the season, the offense was electric throughout the entire night. '22
Ty Clemens had a total of 254 passing yards and four touchdowns. This was easily his best performance of the season, and it came in the biggest game of the year so far. '22
Logan Johnson and '25
Drew Clemens also got some playing time at QB on Homecoming, each of them getting a possession during the second half of the game.
Six different receivers caught receptions during the game. Familiar faces like '22
Bubba Bogart, '22
KeAndre Braxton, and '22
Marlon Gant Jr. all had receiving touchdowns. '22
Marlon Gant Jr. had one of the best plays of the season pitching it back to '22
Bubba Bogart who would take it to the house for a 60 plus yard electrifying touchdown.
Â
The Northmen ran the ball 27 times for a total of 147 yards. This goes hand in hand with the efficiency Oak Park kept throughout the game by going 8-12 on third- down conversions. '25
Travon Pankey had a solid night leading the team in rushing with 85 yards and a touchdown, his longest run of the night being a 48 yard attempt in the fourth quarter. Oak Park was also very safe with the ball as they had zero turnovers in the game. The Oak Park linemen were flying around all night making plays downfield, a critical mindset for this Northmen team down the homestretch of this season. Â
'22
Elijah Davis also had a solid night going 6 for 7 on point after attempts adding 6 points to the Northmen's total, as well as pinning the Indians deep all night with his exceptional Kickoffs.

Â
Defense:
Â
The Oak Park defense on Homecoming night had a bounce back week as the starting varsity squad gave up zero points which would give the offense the opportunity to go up 41 to nothing before St. Joe Central scored. One of the most important things a defense can do is be efficient on late downs. One of the biggest reasons the Northmen were so dominant in this game was holding the Indians to zero first downs on 10 third-down attempts. St. Joe ran a total of 76 plays opposed to the Northmen's 51. The defense for sure had a bend don't break mindset giving up 506 yards but only 21 points.
Â
The secondary of Oak Park had easily it's best game of the year with 4 interceptions, and left two more on the field. '22
Jett Sutton in his first game back from injury had an interception. '23
Karl Knaak had two interceptions one of which was a pick-six and '22
Bryce Warner also had an interception that took the Northmen down to the 3 yard line and resulted in the first score of the night on the pass from
Ty Clemens to
KeAndre Braxton. '22 Juliano Sokoli, '22
Jermaine Harris, and '23
Sharo Mahdi each had their own sack and applied pressure to St. Joe Central the entire game.Â
