Northmen Edge the Griffins in Final Moment of the Game

Oak Park High School -
There will be stories told of what happened at Oak Park High School on that cold night in December when the Northmen battled their in-district rivals of Winnetonka, and if you weren't there, you might not believe it...but, thanks to great advances in technology (and our N2Sports students), almost everyone has a camera, and we are just lucky enough to have captured the moment to relive until the end of time!

If you haven't seen it yet, you need to....

With only 1.0 second on the clock, and much anticipation following both teams using timeouts to game plan, Oak Park Junior Bryce Butler inbound the pass to Junior Jackson Satter who caught the ball mid-air just at the top of the key and in the same motion would release the shot that would give the Northmen the win right as the horn sounded and the entire Oak Park Student section rushed the floor in amazement.

It was a great game filled with some other notables:

Oak Park Point Guard Ahmad Louis led all scorers with 23 points as the Northmen beat Winnetonka Griffins 49-48 in a game at Oak Park High School.

Louis' points came on 4 field goals, 2 three pointers and 9 of 9 free throws during the game.

Racine Williams added 9. while Oak Park improved their record to 2-2 and will take on North Kansas City next Friday 12/14 @ Oak Park High School.
